SHIPPING METHODS/COSTS
We typically are able to ship in-stock items within 24 hours of purchase. We use either TNT Express or XpressPost service from Canadapost. Customers may request which service they prefer. Both service comes with tracking information.
Delivery Time
The following delivery time is applicable for in-stock item orders. They are provided for customer information but the actual delivery time could vary. Delivery dates are based upon production schedules at time of quotation. Martialartswords.com shall not be liable for damages to the purchaser for any default or delayed delivery.
With Xpresspost:
Canada - 2 business days
United States - 3 to 5 business days
International - 4 to 6 business days
With TNT Express:
Canada and United States - 1 business day
Mexico and Western Europe - 2~3 business days
Australia - 4 business days
Shipping Costs
The following shipping charge is for a single metal sword. Shipping rate is the same for both Xpresspost and TNT Express.
Canada - US$40
United States - US$50
Western Europe - US$90
Rest of the World - please inquire before ordering as swords are illegal in some countries
The shipping insurance is included and tracking number will be emailed upon shipping.
All custom order swords will take approximately 2 months for delivery. The custom sword will be commissioned after full payment is received. We try to under-promise and over-deliver but sometimes it isn't possible. When we do learn of delays we try to contact the customer and let them know the shipping status.
FAULTS/RETURNS
Damage/Fault/Loss - In the highly unlikely event that the item should be damaged or lost in the post you are covered for a 100% refund or replacement, just let us know which you prefer and we will sort everything out this end right away. Please keep hold of packaging/goods in case they need to be inspected by Parcelforce. If your item is damaged during transit please let us know as soon as possible, do not attempt to use the item as we may not cover damage which is caused after shipping unless it falls within the guarantee below.
Cancellations - We only sell items that meet our high standards for both workmanship and value for money. If you decide to cancel your order before the payment is processed, there will be no charge. After the payment is processed but before the item is shipped, there will be administrative charge of US$50. After the item is shipped, the customer is responsible for shipping charges, duty, and 20% restocking fee. The restocking fee for custom order sword is 40%.
Returns - We inspect all swords before shipping them. However, if the customer finds a defect in the product, full refund or replacement will be provided. If the customer returns the sword for any reason other than defect in workmanship, refund will be given after shipping charges, customs duty and 20% restocking fee are deducted. The restocking fee for custom order sword is 40%. We cannot accept swords for return if it is used, chipped, scratched or damages in any other ways.
