Martialartswords.com can create the perfect custom katana or jingum for you. All custom jingums will be personally created by the master bladesmith,Wang S. Kim, and the design will depend on your specifications based on the various fittin and style options listed below. The blade is made of L6 steel and differentially heat treated. The handle is fixed at two points to provide excellent blade stability: in case of a Korean sword, with a bamboo pin and a bolt, and in case of a Japanese katana, with 2 bamboo pins or buffalo horn pins. All parts are carefully crafted and fitted together. You will find our saya is perfectly plush and fitted perfectly to each blade.

All our L6 sword blades are covered with lifetime quality guarantee. Even with extensive cutting practice, the blade will not suffer any bends or breakage. We will replace the blade at no charge if such damage arises at any time.

• The delivery time for a custom sword is approximately 10 weeks.
• For Iaito and Kagum orders, please select 'Mirror polish' for the blade polish option.  These blades will have artificial temperline (hamon).
• If silver is selected as fitting material, white brass will be used as tsuba material unless otherwise requested.
• Some combinations cannot be applied together so if you have any doubt, please contact us before placing an order.
